POOLS
There are a few place you can visit with day passes that have a pool. In Flamingo you can purchase half day or full day resort passes at Margaritaville. There is also the Gracia restaurant in Mar Vista located on the hills between Flamingo and Brasilito that features an infinity pool and playground. You can also lounge by the pool at Casa Chamaleon, for adults only. Please check with your desired place on availability before going.
GOAT FARM TOUR
Rancho Avellanas located at Playa Avellanas is a unique opportunity to experience a working artisan goat farm producing organic goat cheese and yogurt. After visiting the farm stop for lunch at Lola’s located right on the beach at Playa Avellanas and order their secret Avellanas pizza off the menu featuring Rancho Avellana’s goat cheese!

SURFING

TAMARINDO
Perhaps the most well know beach town in the area, Tamarindo is a busy surfer party town. It’s nightlife is known to be fun and rowdy. During the day you can take private or group surf lessons, visit the farmer’s market and local shops. There are many great places to eat. Some great beachfront spots are: Volcano, Pangas, Nogui’s, Pico and El Chiringuito. Not beach front but noteworthy deliciousness are Pizza Baula, Bamboo Sushi, La Esquina, Noi Bistro and pretty much anywhere inside the “Mercadito” food court, which is open for lunch and dinner. Check out nearby Playa Langosta too!
